Season information:

Welcome to Field Hockey for the Fall 2025 season with Great Falls Lacrosse & Field Hockey Association.

• Season Length: 7 weeks
• Game Dates: Saturdays – 9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/18, and 10/25 (no games on 10/11)
• First Game: Saturday, September 6 (after Labor Day)
• Game Format: 7 v 7 (small field)
• Game Locations: Primarily Herndon High School and Great Falls Nike Park
• Game Times: Morning through afternoon

The games are played between GF, HRYFH, CYA, Ava Magic, SYA, McLean – Falls Church (MFC), and Extreme.

Games are on Saturday mornings beginning at 9 am and run through the early afternoon.

We plan to begin practices the week of August 18th and have practice twice per week.  Up to the coaches at each age group.  We generally have teams practice at the same time – especially the same age groups.

$175 per player

We are fielding teams aged:

• 2nd-4th
• 5th-6th
• 7th-9th

• • November games: Full-field 11 v 11 games will be offered on Saturdays in November for 7/8 and high school age groups

As you know, GFFA is run by parent volunteers that provide a wide range of field hockey options for your children, and provide both adults and youth with a chance to enjoy the physical, social, and competitive aspects that field hockey can offer. 

We are seeking volunteers looking to take a more active role in our field hockey program to assist our Commissioner.
