LittleLax (first time players ages 4 – 6)
Our LittleLax program a fun developmental clinic geared to the younger player (as young as 4) that meets for 90 minutes on Saturdays. The only equipment required is a stick and mouth guard (cleats are recommended but not required). Through small group games and fun drills, participants in our LittleLax program will learn the basics of stick handling, passing and catching, shooting and the all important ground ball. The clinics are a great way to introduce your son to lacrosse.
Program cost: $125

Saturday Skills Clinics (U9 through U15)
***NEW FORMAT THIS YEAR***
We are pleased to announce that Coaches Earl Brewer and Mac Ogilvie of Langley will be running our Saturday Skills Clinics this Fall!
These clinics are open to players of all skill levels. Coaches Brewer and Ogilvie are designing a curriculum and organizing the clinics to provide an outstanding learning experience for the first time player as well as those boys with multiple years of playing experience. Regardless of your son’s experience level, learning or re-enforcing his understanding of the fundamentals is important in their development as a player and enjoyment of the game. We are pleased to have two outstanding coaches and teachers of the game leading our clinics this Fall and anticipate a rewarding and fun learning experience for all participants.
Players will be grouped by age and experience levels during the clinics. Clinics will be offered in two sessions on Saturdays for players U9/U11 and U13/U15.
Program cost: $125

League Play (U11 through U15)
We will attempt to field teams for TripleEdge’s Fall League at the U11, U13 and possibly U15 level this Fall. TripleEdge’s off-season league (games on Sunday afternoons) is well-established and includes teams and players from a number of the clubs we play during the regular season. Although we reference fielding complete teams for league play, players actually register directly with TripleEdge and not GFLA. As part of the registration process players are asked to provide their club affiliation for purposes of team assignments. It is our expectation that all GFLA players will be placed on the same team. If we have a majority of the players on a given team, we will work to find a Great Falls coach.
NOTE THAT TRIPLEEDGE USES SPRING 2011 AND NOT SPRING 2010 AGE GROUP DESIGNATIONS. Therefore if your son or daughter is moving into an older age division for the Spring 2011 season, he or she will be playing in that age division this Fall with TripleEdge.
At this point we are only asking you to register your interest to participate in the TripleEdge program (through our website and without charge). Once we have an idea for the level of interest in participating in the Fall TripleEdge League, we will send out more information.
